Beauty Smile Orthodontics recommends that children being visiting our office for orthodontic evaluations around the age of 7. Many times treatment is not necessary at this time, but an exam will help determine the correct course of action for your child’s dental health.
Some children will need early orthodontic treatments to help;
• correct bite problems (how the teeth & jaws fit together)
• fix oral habits (such as thumb sucking or tongue trusting)
• teeth spacing issues & guide facial development
Once we have evaluated your child and progressed with his or her dental growth, we will choose an appropriate time to implement our orthodontic treatments for your child and help you select the best option to fit their needs.
